Central Line – G/GJ Tube Wraps

Central_Line_Protector_hospital copy

The CareAline™ Chest Wrap for Central Lines and CareAline™ G/GJ Tube Wrap is designed to cover and protect the body, external catheter line(s) and cap(s). The wrap covers the insertion area and dressing protecting it from clothing, rubbing, and other external influences (this does not replace the sterile bandage used to secure the insertion site). The CareAline™ Wrap keeps the lines in place and off the patient’s skin. This eliminates the need for irritating tape to hold the tube(s) and cap(s) in place when the patient is not being treated.

Tips and tricks for using the CareAline™ Wraps

Care Instructions

CareAline™ Products are Single Patient Use. We recommend you wash and dry your garment every 2 – 3 days unless it gets soiled, then it needs to be washed right away. Washing your products on a regular basis keeps them clean. Keep in mind that constant wear will cause stretching. Washing and drying them will bounce them back to normal.

  • CareAline products can be machine washed on the Hot cycle
  • We recommend machine drying on a medium heat cycle.
  • Fasten the Velcro® on the CareAline™ Wraps – this way nothing else sticks to the Velcro® during wash and drying.
